Tariffs and indirect sourcing exposure Suppose the United States raises tariffs on imported apparel and footwear. Which public retailers have disclosures worth investigating because they source through overseas manufacturers or purchasing intermediaries and may bear higher merchandise costs, even when they are not the manufacturer? Prioritize sourcing arrangements, purchase commitments, and pricing constraints over generic tariff warnings.

Try your research question03 YOUR RESEARCH BOUNDARIES
Start with a question alone, or narrow the search to the universe you care about. Your explicit boundaries stay in place.
Supply company tickers or SIC industry codes when you already know your universe. These are alternative ways to limit the search; SEV does not substitute other companies to fill the shortlist.
Include filings on or after a date you choose. This limits the filing date, so you can distinguish a company's historical disclosure from a current research question.
Choose a maximum number of companies, up to 50. Fewer results, including zero, are valid. Each returned company can include up to three original passages.
Use a returned passage reference to retrieve the full text and available adjacent context without running a new discovery search. Relevant companies can still be missed; the shortlist is not a complete market census.
04 BUILT FOR THE NEXT STEP
